There are days when I'm exhausted, but if I tell myself, just do five reps, I can do five reps, and then I start with the five reps, and it gets me going."

Waking up hungry? Here's what that says about your health |
People might worry when they wake up hungry because they think it means they didn't eat enough the night before or that they'll be prone to overeating at breakfast, but "waking hungry is perfectly normal," says registered dietitian Natalie Rizzo, TODAY.com's nutrition editor.
This is especially true if the last meal you ate before bed was dinner, she adds. "For example, if you eat dinner at 6 p.m. and then go to bed at 10 p.m. and wake up at 6 a.m., you have fasted for 12 hours. Being hungry after a 12-hour fast is normal! And while there's nothing wrong with eating after dinner, limiting food in the hours before bed leads to better sleep and less indigestion." Here's when waking up hungry is a concern. |
