Michelle Hughes, 37, was diagnosed with an incurable cancer and rare sarcoma known as EHE in 2021, two weeks after giving birth to her son. Doctors estimated she had about three years to live, but a sarcoma expert gave her hope. On the third anniversary of her diagnosis in August 2024, she finished a triathlon.
