Today's workout is a 2-minute meditation and yoga routine. On yoga days, you'll pick one of the two routines. The first routine can be done standing and the second routine is for those of you who want to get down onto your hands and knees. By syncing breath with movement, you're bringing your body into full awareness of how it feels to stretch and strengthen your muscles, while quieting the mind and releasing tension. It's topped it with arugula, fresh veggies and a tangy balsamic vinaigrette that utilizes heart-smart extra-virgin olive oil. "Most Greek yogurts have about twice the protein as regular yogurt," she says. When choosing a yogurt to call the healthiest, Whitney Linsenmeyer, a spokesperson for the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, tells TODAY.com. says "anything unsweetened" would be a top contender. And, with its extra protein punch, "Greek yogurt is going to take the gold medal." Get more healthy picks from registered dietitians. |
