You should definitely wash your face at least once a day, says dermatologist Dr. Shari Lipner. But you don't want to over wash. If you find that your skin feels tight or dry after washing it in the winter, you don't need to wash it any more than once a day, she says. "Cleansing your skin is OK, but you don't want to be washing your face multiple times a day." Instead, she recommends cleansing your face fully in the evening and just using a splash of water in the morning.
