Memphis officials are calling for peace and bracing for unrest ahead of the release of the bodycam footage at 6 p.m. local time tonight that shows the beating by police on Jan. 7 that ultimately left Tyre Nichols, 29, dead after a traffic stop. Five former Memphis police officers were indicted yesterday on murder charges. The attorney for Nichols' family compared the video to the Rodney King beating in 1991. Police Chief C.J. Davis said yesterday that she expects citizens to be outraged by the "heinous, reckless and inhumane" conduct captured in the video and is asking for peaceful protests. Here's the latest.

No, it wasn't for a "21 Jump Street" sequel. A 29-year-old woman was arrested after she spent four days fraudulently enrolled as a student in a New Jersey high school, officials said. Hyejeong Shin was charged after using a fake birth certificate at New Brunswick High School "with the intent to enroll as a juvenile high-school student," police said. During her days in school, she spent a lot of time with guidance counselors who were trying to find out more information before school officials uncovered her "ruse," the school's superintendent said.

Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni will star in the movie version of Colleen Hoover's 'It Ends With Us.'

Colleen Hoover, the country's top-selling author, announced yesterday that the film adaptation for her runaway hit "It Ends With Us" will star Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni as main characters Lily Bloom and Ryle Kincaid. The book follows Bloom's attempt to break the cycle of abuse in her life, including a tumultuous marriage to Kincaid. Hoover called Lively her "dream Lily," and Baldoni will also direct the film as well as star in it.
