When a Chicago mom who needed some lasagna defrosted couldn't get her 11-year-old daughter to answer her phone in the real world, she tracked her down in the virtual one. ChaCha Watson hopped onto Roblox, where her avatar soon found her daughter Miracle's avatar. ChaCha's character promptly told her daughter to take the lasagna out of the freezer with some garlic bread so she could cook it when she got home. "When my baby don't answer the phone I pull up on ROBLOX," she joked on Facebook. ChaCha told us she plays the game with her daughter as a way of bonding, and not just defrosting dinner. "Being a single parent, you just want to make sure that you're spending time with your kids," she said. "That's really important to me." |
