You know what they say — every journey starts with one step. The same is true of all your goals. In fact, Stephanie Mansour, personal trainer and TODAY contributor, says that taking small steps can help you get to big goals faster than trying to do too much at once. "Small steps get you to your goals faster," says Mansour. Mansour has learned this in her work as a personal trainer and by working with members of the Start TODAY Walking Group. "I am blown away by so many of our amazing members who share their success stories with us. And a common theme is that starting with one step — be it making a healthy breakfast each morning, going on a short walk, or even drinking more water — helped catapult them to success," says Mansour. So while you always want to have your eye on the prize, remember to break down your goals into small, actionable steps that you can measure and celebrate along the way! |
