Dan Rivera, a paranormal investigator and handler of a doll named Annabelle allegedly possessed by evil spirits, was found dead at 54 in a Pennsylvania hotel on July 13, Adams County Chief Deputy Coroner Scott Pennewill told TODAY.com. Rivera was participating in the "Devils on the Run Tour" hosted by the New England Society for Psychic Research, celebrating late supernatural investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren of "The Conjuring" fame. The doll, which inspired a series of horror movies also named "Annabelle," was not present at the scene, and Rivera's death was "nothing suspicious," Pennewill said. |
