If anyone knows how to live well, it's a centenarian — and we have their advice for you.
We all want to age with ease. And if it can be fun, too — why not? We did a roundup of some of the best advice that centenarians gave us in 2022 and it's definitely worth paying mind. One of the major takeaways is that you should never stop learning, moving, and growing. "If (people) retire from their work, they should at least do something as a hobby," Dr. Howard Tucker, 100, told TODAY.com. "I think that to retire, one can face potential shriveling up and ending in a nursing home. It's fun staying alive and working… It's delightful work. Every day I learn something new," he said. As folks in the Facebook group can attest to, walking isn't just a form of fitness — it's also a great hobby! Walking can be a great way to get outside and meet new people without spending a lot of money. Plus, it will definitely keep you from shriveling up! |
