The CEO of a data operations company resigned after a viral moment on camera at a Coldplay concert. Plus, how the "Food Court 5000" walking club gets people moving in a fun way, and the best fruit for warding off inflammation.
Astronomer CEO Andy Byron has resigned in the wake of a viral video from a Coldplay concert, the data operations company said in a statement on X on July 19. Byron was identified by social media users as one of the people in a video from a July 16 Coldplay concert in which two people previously embracing abruptly hid from a kiss camera. NBC News has not independently verified that Byron was in the footage. After the two people dodged the camera, lead singer Chris Martin said, "Either they're having an affair or they're just very shy."
For people who hate to exercise like Oregon mom Krista Catwood, "Food Court 5000" is a fun way to get moving and celebrate a love of all things '80s. "I needed to work movement into my life that was fun, free or cheap, and didn't feel like a chore," Catwood tells TODAY.com. The walking group encourages members of all ages to put on their best '80s neon leggings and acid-washed denim to power walk a mall in Portland. TODAY fitness contributor Stephanie Mansour also shared the added benefits of getting your steps in a mall.
