Chances are you're eating a diet full of CRAP — an acronym for "calorie-rich and processed" foods — that's making weight loss impossible. Dr. Michael Greger, author of the new book "How Not to Diet," wants people to know there's a better way. It's not just what you eat, but how and when, he says. Greger advises consuming two teaspoons of vinegar with each meal — it ramps up an enzyme that tells your body you're low on energy, so you burn more fat to "recharge your batteries," he said. Any kind of vinegar will do, though Greger prefers apple cider or balsamic because it has other beneficial nutrients in it. Never drink vinegar straight -- dilute it in water or drizzle it on a salad. Follow the link to see eight of Greger's favorite weight-loss boosters and find out which diet he calls the best for slimming down. |
