The secret to making a healthier sandwich

Instead of counting veggies (or calories!), count the number of different colors you're including in your sandwich. The more colors, the more phytochemicals, vitamins and minerals you'll be eating. Plus, it makes the whole sandwich making process a lot more fun!

Aim to "eat the rainbow" by including different veggies, grains, protein sources, herbs and even fruit.
