Sam Bankman-Fried was sentenced to 25 years in prison yesterday for his role in defrauding users of the collapsed cryptocurrency exchange FTX. Prosecutors had asked for a 50-year sentence for the disgraced executive, while Bankman-Fried's legal team had argued for 6 years. Prosecutors said he robbed FTX customers of as much as $8 billion.
