A massive house explosion rocked a neighborhood in Arlington, Virginia, last night as police were investigating reports of a man repeatedly firing a flare gun from inside, police said. Video posted to social media showed a huge fireball and the roof and other debris shooting into the air from the blast. Neighbors reported that shots were being fired at 4:45 p.m., and when police tried to conduct a search warrant after 8 p.m., the suspect inside the residence fired several rounds of a flare gun before the house exploded, police said. No officers were injured, and the fate of the person inside the home, which is outside Washington, D.C., wasn't immediately clear. See the video. |

Julia Roberts is like any parent of teenagers when it comes to trying to limit them from being buried in their phones all day. The Oscar winner, who is a mom of 19-year-old twins and a 16-year-old son with husband Danny Moder, shared her philosophy on TODAY. "For us, we just had sort of simple rules where we had a charging station, where everybody's phone goes when you get home. There's no phones at the table, certainly," she said. "It ended up making my face look like I'd been barbecued," Campbell told TODAY.com. Years of sun exposure from the driver's side window while driving particularly affected the left side of his face.
