How to get a runner's high without running a half marathon

There are so many benefits to running, from improving your health to easing depression symptoms — and losing track of time as you experience the runner's high. It's actually easier for a beginner to feel the almost meditative trance. Try to run at least 20 minutes at 70-85 percent of your maximum heart rate. Giving yourself a workout that's set in minutes rather than distance is a good way to produce endorphins and get the happy feeling.
