The FBI is looking into possible hacks of the Trump and Biden-Harris campaigns. Plus, a mom shares how her back-to-school anxiety is tied to other parents, and what happens when more than 2,000 sets of multiples gather in one small town.
The FBI said yesterday that it's looking into attempted hacks of the Trump and Biden-Harris campaigns. The announcement came after Politico, The Washington Post and The New York Times reported they received seemingly authentic files stolen from the Trump campaign. A Trump campaign spokesperson said it was hacked in June, while the Harris campaign said it's not aware of any security breaches. Meanwhile as Vice President Kamala Harris and running mate Tim Walz mark their first week together on the campaign trail, former President Donald Trump spoke with X owner Elon Musk in an online event that was delayed 40 minutes due to technical difficulties. Here's the latest.
Parents can get back-to-school jitters, too, but the rising anxiety for lawyer and mom Rebecca Morrison is not over all the school supplies she has to track down. "It was because I'd be around those have-it-all-together perfect mom types," Morrison wrote in an essay for TODAY.com. She finally stopped letting herself get caught up in her own "dark self-doubts" after an encounter with a "good mom" at the bus stop. Read the full essay.
Like monarch butterflies instinctively gathering in Mexico every fall, thousands of twins flock to (where else?) Twinsburg, Ohio, every August for a three-day festival called Twins Days. "The people that go have become our family," twin Misty Day told TODAY.com. "It's the highlight of our year." There's no teasing for looking alike, talking alike or dressing alike — it's all celebrated. See what happens when they all get together.
