In the wonderful world of hair care, there aren't many products that I haven't tried. As a beauty editor, I've tested tons of sprays, mousses and dry shampoos – and I have the product buildup to prove it.
In an effort to combat all this buildup without over-shampooing, I tried the dpHUE Apple Cider Vinegar Hair Rinse, which promises to gently cleanse the scalp without stripping strands of their natural oils.
I was skeptical of the product at first. The formula feels watery and doesn't produce any suds to let me know it's working. But after using it, my hair was noticeably shinier, softer and frizz-free – all known benefits of the product's star ingredient: apple cider vinegar. Even better, I always have a good hair day after using this rinse.
My one complaint is that this product still has some of that infamous ACV scent, fortunately though, it doesn't linger. And it's certainly a grievance I'm willing to put up with for more frequent good hair days! Plus it lasts for a while since I only use it every 3 – 4 days.
