Happy New Year — and welcome! We've redesigned the Start TODAY newsletter with a fresh look for 2023, adding more quick links to the daily challenges and meal plans — and even more tips to keep you informed, healthy and ready to tackle a new day.
This morning on the show, Stephanie Mansour kicked off our January fitness challenge. In case you didn't tune in, you can find all the workout moves here. If, like Hoda, you're wondering how to get motivated to walk when it's cold outside, remember what Steph suggested: Think of your walk as a pick me up. That brisk air can actually help you get moving! You can find more tips on working out in the cold here. And, if it helps, some experts think that there are physical and mental benefits to exercising in cold temperatures. So, don't let anything get in between you and your health goals. Just look at what all the amazing Start TODAY members on the show today have accomplished. You could be the next Start TODAY member humble bragging to Jenna and Hoda about your successes! |

It's not enough to set a broad goal. We need to be specific about the steps it will take to get there. What does "exercising more" look like to you? Is it 5 days a week? Is it 20 minutes a day? What time of day? What type of exercise? Write out your goals and then get as specific as possible with what the path to get there looks like. Our 31-day calendar helps with this step. Print it out and hang it somewhere you will see it everyday. |
