A Libyan man suspected of making the bomb that blew up Pan Am Flight 103 over the Scottish town of Lockerbie in 1988, killing all 259 people onboard, including 189 Americans, is now in U.S. custody, authorities said yesterday. It's not clear how Abu Agila Mohammad Mas'ud Kheir Al-Marimi arrived in U.S. hands. The bombing remains the deadliest terror attack on British soil. Mas'ud will now become the first Libyan operative to be tried on American soil in connection with the bombing. A former Libyan intelligence officer who died in 2012 is the only other person who has ever been convicted in the attack. U.S. officials said Mas'ud admitted to building the bomb in a 2012 interview with Libyan law enforcement. |

One Georgia mom has gone viral for a video demonstrating a simple trick for shutting down a toddler's tantrum. Alivia Cromartie recommends "zoomies," which is essentially running around to burn off energy. In a video on Instagram, Cromartie runs circles around her 18-month-old daughter when she starts crying, and the little girl soon begins laughing and eventually gives her mom a hug. "I've done zoomies in a grocery store. I'll run up and down the aisles. I don't care who sees," Cromartie told us. "Distracting my kid is the key." |

A 6-year-old girl in Los Angeles County now has all the proper permits to keep a unicorn in her backyard. The L.A. County Department of Animal Care and Control shared an adorable letter from a girl named Madeline asking for approval to have a unicorn if she can find one. Madeline's request was granted, but she has to abide by the government's conditions, which include making sure the unicorn is given regular access to moonbeams and rainbows. The department even got her a unicorn for her birthday this week, complete with a unicorn license. |
