A simple move from Steph to try after you overeat
The holiday season is full of delicious treats, and it's hard to resist all the cookies, pies and other temptations. Nor should you! But what do you do when you overindulge and feel uncomfortable and bloated? Try twisting to help improve digestion, reduce bloating, and give you some relief! Simply sit in a chair and twist to the right. Hold there and look over your right shoulder for two breaths. Then switch and twist to the left, holding for two breaths. You can also twist while standing — and you can even twist while walking! If you're upright, simply twist to the right and left without holding. Twisting helps improve digestion because you're wringing out the internal organs as you twist, and as you release, you allow fresh blood and oxygen to rush into the organs. You don't have to wait until you're uncomfortable to twist, either. Try making twisting part of your daily fitness routine and see if it helps your digestion! See you walking, Steph |
