When a storm is headed your way, it can feel challenging to squeeze fitness into all of the other things you have to do to prepare. With all the crazy weather projections right now in the U.S., even if you aren't directly affected by a storm, it's hard not to get caught up in a flurry of anticipation. How are you supposed to check the batteries in everything, get the pantry stocked and also make progress towards a 5K? The good news is that exercise is great for reducing any anxious feelings you may have about the weather! In fact, some experts think that exercise should be the first line of defense in combatting anxiety. Not only that but imagine how you'll feel if you stay on track with your fitness goals regardless of the weather!
