One of the most popular New Year's resolutions is losing weight or simply improving the diet, but you don't have to wait until January to come up with a plan for success.
A habit to start practicing now is to eat until you feel satisfied – not full, says dietitian Kristin Kirkpatrick. She remembers doing everything she could to control her portion sizes, but still overeating. The solution is finding foods that fill you up (think fat, fiber and protein), and eating until you are no longer hungry, not full.
