A Texas woman charged in the murder of professional cyclist Moriah "Mo" Wilson tracked Wilson's movements on the exercise app Strava before confronting and shooting her at a home in Austin, Texas, last year, prosecutors said during opening arguments of the trial yesterday. Kaitlin Armstrong, 35, has pleaded not guilty to the murder of Wilson, who allegedly was romantically involved with Armstrong's boyfriend, fellow cyclist Colin Strickland. Armstrong had access to Strickland's messages on a laptop they shared and could have determined where Wilson was staying based on data about Wilson's bike ride earlier that day posted on Strava, prosecutors said. She finally decided to get a full-body MRI, which detected a mass on her pancreas that she had surgically removed in February.
