| Today's workout is a walk — we're on day 22 of our walking streak!
This time of year, many people wish to tone the back of the arms, says trainer Stephanie Mansour. The muscle to target to tighten this area is the tricep.
The triceps are actually made up of three parts: the long head, the lateral head and the medial head. They're the largest muscle group in the arm and run from the shoulder down to the elbow. Skull crushers are an effective exercise to target the triceps. To perform: - Lie down on your back holding a dumbbell in each hand. Bend your knees with your feet as wide as your hips.
- Extend the arms straight up so that the dumbbells are as wide as your shoulders.
- Bend the elbows to a 90-degree angle, lowering the weights to frame your face.
- Extend the arms up straight, and repeat 10 times.

Siri and Carson Daly say this meal is one of their sure-fire recipes for getting their kids to eat veggies. These bowls are versatile and quick to throw together — an easy way to pack in healthy protein and nutritious veggies. This recipe is basically a canvas in which you can easily switch up what you're working with. Swap chicken for salmon, couscous for rice or basically any veggie your heart desires.

Cardiologists reveal what they eat for breakfast and the foods they avoid |
Breakfast can set the nutritional tone for the rest of the day, so what do doctors who take care of people's hearts eat in the morning? One food you'll never find on their breakfast plate is bacon. "The No. 1 thing that I would avoid is bacon," says Dr. Andrew Freeman, director of cardiovascular prevention and wellness at National Jewish Health in Denver. "It is loaded with salt and a variety of other additives. … In addition to being a processed red meat and the cancer risk, there's also obviously heart disease risk with it. So as tasty as it is, it should be avoided pretty much at all costs." Some of the other foods they avoid include bakery muffins, danishes, donuts, croissants and pancakes. Find out what heart-healthy foods cardiologists eat for breakfast. |
