Al Roker has had to be more particular about what type of balanced meals he eats since his gallbladder was removed. But Al doesn't stress about making sure his meals are healthy because he sticks to one simple rule. And his rule is exactly that: Keep it simple. What does that mean, though. Well, for Al it means skipping any complicated recipes with a lot of ingredients. "If it's got like 20 ingredients, I'm out," Al said. Instead, he uses as few ingredients as possible and cooks almost everything in his iron skillet. Al does have a few favorite non-recipe recipes to share: "Pan seared chicken thighs: salt and pepper, sear it in a pan. Maybe you sprinkle some smoked paprika on it. That's about it. Is there anything better than pan seared salmon?" |
