Try 'slow carbs' to lose weight and feel healthier

Carbohydrates are an often-misunderstood nutrient, says nutritionist Lisa Young.

Limiting your intake of white bread, white pasta, cakes, cookies and other refined grains is a good idea, but she advises against cutting out fiber-rich and healthy "slow carbs" like those found in fruits, vegetables, legumes and healthy whole grains.
