TODAY One Small Thing
Think of social media as a highlight reel of someone's life. They're only posting the good stuff! But if you find viewing everyone else's high points is making you feel low, it's time to make some changes. While it's unrealistic to say don't look at Instagram or Facebook – there are some things to do to limit the unhappiness social media can inflict.

Instead of mindlessly scrolling through, ask yourself these questions: Am I looking at it because I'm bored? Am I comparing myself to others? Is it making me feel bad? If a particular post upsets you, ask yourself why, and analyze those feelings. Then change your behavior – maybe you hide that person. There is a message in your messy feelings, you just have to unpack it.
