5 Tips for Hiring the Right Freelancer

How to Choose the Right Freelancer
If you've posted a project, you'll know how many freelancers are eager to work with you. With so much choice, how do you pick the right one?
1. Review Portfolios
Have a look at the freelancer's portfolio of work to get an understanding of their style. This is especially useful for design projects.
Tip: You can also reference their previous work as inspiration for your project.
2. Reviews & Ratings
Read other employers experiences with the freelancer. Even if a freelancer is talented at their craft, make sure they can handle deadlines, budgets and incorporate feedback.
3. Chat to Them
Before awarding your project, you can chat with the freelancer. Share your project details and ask questions about their previous experience and their ability to complete your project within your deadline and budget.
4. Set Expectations & Deadlines
Make sure you're clear about the deadline. Your favorite freelancer might be working on several projects, so it's important to check that they can meet your deadline before you hire them.
5. Filter by Price
Did you know that you can order your bids by price?
If your project is price sensitive this feature can help filter out freelancers who are over your budget.
Try these tips when hiring your next freelancer!
