MSNBC anchor Stephanie Ruhle shares why she considers her dyslexia a part of her success. Plus, see a woman's viral wedding mishap when her boyfriend misunderstood the definition of a "black tie" event, and the one heart-healthy ingredient cardiologists love adding to dinner.
MSNBC anchor Stephanie Ruhle has risen to national prominence as a broadcaster even though she tells TODAY.com she "really can't read the teleprompter" due to her dyslexia. She has not let that hold her back, as she describes how she uses index cards and a photographic memory to help her when speaking in public. She also shares why she calls dyslexia her "superpower."
Ashley Bez, 41, trusted that her boyfriend of 10 years knew what he was talking about when he said a friend's black tie wedding meant "the guys dress up and the women can wear whatever they want," she tells TODAY.com. Turns out, he misinterpreted the dress code, and she ended up way underdressed. "I look like a kindergartner on the first day of school," she joked in an Instagram video about the situation.
