British widow Laura Coleman-Day stood out among the runners at the London Marathon this past weekend when she crossed the finish line wearing her wedding dress. Her effort was inspired by her late husband, Xander, who died in 2024 from post-transplant complications following a diagnosis of acute lymphoblastic leukemia. The annual marathon also happened to fall on the couple's wedding anniversary. Coleman-Day took on the challenge to raise funds for Anthony Nolan, a charity dedicated to blood cancer research. |
