Legendary Australian supermodel Elle Macpherson has stirred up controversy among doctors and cancer survivors with her new memoir. She writes that she was diagnosed with breast cancer following a lumpectomy in 2017 and declined the chemotherapy treatment recommended by her doctor. Macpherson, 60, who told The Australian Women's Weekly that her cancer is now in "clinical remission," instead spent eight months in Arizona under the care of a primary doctor who specializes in integrative medicine. Italian Paralympian Alessandro Ossola didn't leave with a medal after competing in the men's 100-meter T63 race in Paris, but it still was a moment he will never forget. Following his race, Ossola knelt down and proposed to girlfriend Arianna Mandaradoni, who enthusiastically said yes. The proposal came nine years after a motorcycle accident claimed the life of Ossola's first wife and took part of his left leg. He met Mandaradoni in 2019.
