The Arizona Supreme Court delivers a stunning ruling banning abortion. Plus, how to tell if you hurt your eyes watching the eclipse, and whether eating pasta regularly can be part of a healthy diet.
A bombshell decision by the Arizona Supreme Court effectively banned abortion in the state by finding that a 160-year-old law still on the books in the state is enforceable. The ruling stands up an 1864 state law that makes abortion a felony punishable by up to five years in prison for anyone who performs one or helps a woman obtain one. Numerous Arizona Republicans who previously celebrated Roe v. Wade being overturned distanced themselves from yesterday's ruling (although one of them called the 1864 statute "a great law" just two years ago). Here's the latest.

Ten years before actor Dean Norris joined Christopher Meloni as Detective Elliot Stabler's brother on "Law & Order: Organized Crime," he spoke it into existence. In 2014, Norris shared a shot on Instagram (above, left) of the two together during a visit to TODAY, writing "Not sayin we'd own prime time with our own tv show, but we'd OWN prime time." After a detour playing the legendary Hank Schrader on "Breaking Bad," the prophecy came true with Norris' role as Randall Stabler (above, right). "I'm glad it did work out, and it's been a blast," Norris told TODAY.com. Read the full interview here.
