The "Hawkeye" star is on the road to recovery after being run over by his own snowplow while trying to clear a car from the snow at his home near Reno, Nevada. He shared a photo from the hospital after local police say he was run over by his 14,000-pound PistenBully when it began to roll on its own as he was talking to a family member. Renner's hospital selfie shows him with a bruised face. "Thank you all for your kind words," he wrote. "I'm too messed up now to type. But I send love to you all." See the photo here. |

Jenna Bush Hager has shared her first book club pick of 2023, a coming-of-age story that opens with a defining moment of a 7-year-old girl's life. Jenna tells us that "Sam" by Allegra Goodman "explores what happens when one girl loses the wonder of childhood — the innocence of her early years only to reclaim her power and hope." Sam has a particular interest in rock climbing, which evolves as she navigates obstacles with her parents and other relationships. We're also launching the new Streaking with Jenna challenge for 2023, in which Jenna is encouraging everyone to develop a regular reading habit. See all the details here. |

Has it been five years already? Savannah Guthrie and Hoda Kotb made history as the first all-female duo to host TODAY in 2018, and they celebrated their five-year anniversary by each other's side yesterday. The two took a look back on some fun milestones together (dancing with J. Lo!) as well as the big events they've covered, like the Winter Olympics and a royal wedding. "We're so lucky. You're my soul sister," Savannah told Hoda. "You held my hand five years ago. We said, 'Let's do this.' And this has been the joy of a lifetime." Here's to many more! Watch their tribute. |
