A federal judge will hear arguments at 1 p.m. EST today on whether to release the affidavit filed in support of the warrant that led FBI agents to search the Mar-a-Lago home of former President Donald Trump. The Justice Department has argued that unsealing the affidavit would compromise the investigation and future witnesses as investigators sift through a trove of documents taken from the residence. The San Luis Obispo County Sheriff's Office in California got caught up in some monkey business recently when it got disconnected from a 911 call that it then traced to a nearby zoo. Police determined that a Capuchin monkey named Route picked up a cell phone in a golf cart at the zoo and dialed the emergency number. "We're told Capuchin monkeys are very inquisitive and will grab anything and everything and just start pushing buttons," the office said. |
