Makeup remover wipes have always been our go-to method of cleaning our face but we've been thinking a lot lately about how wasteful they are for the environment (and our wallet). So when we heard about the Original MakeUp Eraser, a reusable polyester cloth that eliminates the need for one-use makeup remover wipes, we were intrigued.

Here's how it works: You wet the machine washable cloth with warm water then "erase" makeup by rubbing it around in a circular motion. The antibacterial cloth takes on the trickiest makeup - including waterproof formulas - with the help of hairlike fibers that are much more gentle on your skin than the average face cloth. It's also double-sided and one side can be used to exfoliate skin.

One MakeUp Eraser can be washed up to 1,000 times and is equivalent to 3,600 makeup wipes, so the $20 price tag seems pretty fair to us, and the 11,000+ five-star ratings definitely don't hurt.
