In a new video shared on Instagram yesterday, Savannah Guthrie pleaded with the person who may have taken her mother, as the search for Nancy Guthrie continues after nearly six months. “So I am asking you — begging you — to do the right thing now," she said. "Make the right choice. Help us find her. Tell us where to look for her. I truly believe it is never too late to do the right thing. Help us bring this situation to an end."

A history professor at Alcorn State wanted to see how many of his students were using AI programs to write their midterm papers, so he laid a trap inside the assignment prompt. Dr. Jason Gibson said 32 of his 35 students walked right into it, resulting in failing grades, when they could have easily caught it if they even just proofread the AI response. His videos about the midterms have ignited a debate over the role of artificial intelligence in higher education.
