Olivia Garton grew up knowing her family had an unusual connection to Olive Garden. Employees recognized her on birthdays, and trips to the restaurant had been a regular part of her life for as long as she could remember. However, Olivia, 8, didn't learn the full history until a classmate told her she was "not special," and her parents cheered her up by explaining how millions of strangers once celebrated her before she was even born.

Grace Lewis started Crazy Korean Cooking as a YouTube channel almost 20 years ago, but it's her Korean parents who have since become the main attraction. Their ebullient reactions to trying new foods like Texas barbecue and seafood gumbo have made them a sensation while also serving a bigger purpose. “In a small way, maybe people will be more open-minded about other cultures and other people, which means more love, or at least understanding," Lewis tells TODAY.com.
