Arizona Diamondbacks star Ketel Marte could be seen in tears during a pitching change against the Chicago White Sox on Tuesday when his manager, Torey Lovullo, took a moment to console him. Lovullo said he heard a fan ridicule Marte's mother, who died in a 2017 car accident. "(I told him), 'I love you and I'm with you and we're all together and you're not alone,'" Lovullo told a Diamondbacks reporter after the win over Chicago. The fan was ejected from the game, according to MLB.com. |
