Family and friends of brothers Lyle and Erik Menendez are holding a rally outside a Los Angeles courthouse this afternoon as the district attorney weighs whether they should be resentenced or possibly released after nearly 30 years in prison. The brothers, who were convicted in 1996 for killing their parents, are "cautiously optimistic" about the prosecutor's review, their attorney said yesterday.
