James Earl Jones, whose distinctive baritone made him one of Hollywood's most famous voices over a seven-decade career, died yesterday at 93, his representative said. Jones won two Tony Awards, two Emmy Awards, an honorary Academy Award and a Grammy, but he may be remembered most as the voice of iconic villain Darth Vader from "Star Wars." Jessica Harris was a 24-year-old single mom and newly sober when she decided to give up her daughter, Sloane, in an open adoption in 2019. She remained close to Sloane's adoptive parents, Kelly and Drew Moyer, which led to a beautiful moment at Harris' recent wedding in Mexico. The baby girl she gave up for adoption, now 4 years old, served as the flower girl when Harris and her husband Antonio tied the knot. "Hearing her ask, 'Jess, will you dance with me?' was the best feeling," Harris said about Sloane. "I remember thinking, 'I can't believe she's here with me.'" Read the full story. |
