President Biden and Britain's King Charles III and Prince William are joining European leaders and World War II veterans today to mark the 80th anniversary of the Allied Forces' surprise attack in Normandy, France, that helped liberate Europe from Nazi Germany. Biden met with World War II heroes in France, and "Saving Private Ryan" star Tom Hanks also made an appearance. The solemn scenes come as questions arise about the future of the Western alliance. "I believe that freedom and democracy are definitely under threat," D-Day veteran Harold Terens, 100, told NBC News. Here's the latest.
