| A tentative agreement announced yesterday by the NCAA and the nation's five biggest conferences could signal a seismic change in college sports: paying the players. The nearly $2.8 billion settlement in a series of antitrust lawsuits would be paid out to 14,000 current and former college athletes starting as soon as the fall of 2025. The landmark settlement also included a new compensation model that would allow schools to distribute up to $21 million a year to their players. Here's how it would work. |

| A frugal dad's shortcuts to saving money when he takes his four kids out to eat have people divided over whether they're useful hacks or crossing the line. Josh Mileham, 37, showed on TikTok how he spreads cheese in extra tortillas and puts them under a sizzling fajita skillet to make quesadillas for his kids. The legendary Pat Sajak has pretty much heard it all during his decades of hosting "Wheel of Fortune," so he was unfazed when a contestant had an answer that hit everyone right in the ... funny bone. A player named Tavaris guessed "Right in the butt!" as a solution on last night's show, prompting gasps and laughs from the audience and fellow contestants. Sajak simply said, "No," before another player correctly guessed "This is the best!" Later on, Tavaris apologized for his overeager answer.
