The TODAY family joined the rest of the country in celebrating the rare total solar eclipse yesterday, which left millions in awe from Texas to Maine. "We're all filled with wonder. TODAY was another one for the books," the anchors captioned an Instagram photo. TODAY.com's Elena Nicolaou traveled to path of totality in Texas, NBC's Gadi Schwartz witnessed it from 40,000 feet, and Al Roker had an "Oh my gosh!" moment in Dallas. UConn men's basketball became the first back-to-back NCAA champion in 17 years.

The king stay the king. The University of Connecticut beat Purdue 75-60 last night to become the first men's basketball team to repeat as NCAA champions since Florida in 2006-07, and just the eighth in history. Senior guard Tristen Newton was named the most outstanding player of the tournament after a dominant run in which UConn won its games by an average of 23.3 points.
