Multiple people were taken into custody last night at New York University after the school called police and requested the removal of demonstrators, the NYPD said. Protests over the war in Gaza have now been held at multiple universities. Police in New Haven, Connecticut, also arrested protesters who had set up an encampment on Yale University's campus yesterday, and classes went virtual at Columbia University amid demonstrations. Pro-Palestinian encampments have also been established at the University of Michigan, MIT, and California State Polytechnic University, Humboldt. Here's the latest. |

Kevin Bacon traveled to Utah and back in time when he recently visited Payson High School, where the 1984 classic "Footloose" was filmed.
