Celebrity chef José Andrés wrote on X yesterday that he was "heartbroken" after members of his nonprofit World Central Kitchen organization were killed in Gaza by an airstrike by the Israel Defense Forces. The WCK said at least seven members were killed while traveling in a convoy of vehicles after unloading over 100 tons of humanitarian food aid. University of Iowa superstar guard Caitlin Clark delivered a sensational 41-point performance last night, burying nine 3-pointers to help the Hawkeyes beat defending NCAA champion LSU 94-87 to reach the Final Four. The NCAA's all-time leading scorer also had 12 assists and 7 rebounds as the Hawkeyes avenged a loss to the Tigers from last year's championship game. Nigerian ballet dancer Anthony Madu, 14, went viral in 2020 when his teacher posted a video of him doing pirouettes barefoot in the rain in the streets of Lagos. Bullied as a child for liking ballet, he soon had scholarship offers from prestigious dance schools. However, vision issues in his right eye and other obstacles stood in the way of his dreams of dancing professionally.
