Yo-yo dieting and struggles with eating disorders in her 20s caused Kimberly Kalstrom's weight to swing wildly from 90 pounds to 300. "I had a doctor tell me I wasn't going to be able to see my grandkids grow up if I didn't do something," she told TODAY.com. Six years ago, she lost 100 pounds in 15 months, but then menopause brought the weight back. She then underwent gastric bypass surgery in 2021 and began a daily walking habit. While Iowa's Caitlin Clark has become a legend for beating the NCAA's all-time scoring record, there is actually another college basketball star who has quietly poured in more points than her. Meet Grace Beyer, who recently finished her NAIA basketball career for the University of Health Sciences & Pharmacy in St. Louis with a record 3,961 points, 276 more than Clark's current total. "The entire country is talking about how Caitlin Clark is improving the game of basketball on the women's side, and just to be able to do something in somewhat of the same vicinity is special," Beyer told TODAY.com.
