You've probably heard of white noise — but have you heard of other colors of noise? Pink and brown noise are also becoming increasingly popular to help slumberers drown out other sounds at night. "Colored noise, particularly white noise, can be beneficial for sleep due to its ability to mask disruptive sounds and promote a feeling of calm and relaxation," said Shelby Harris, a clinical psychologist specializing in behavioral sleep medicine.
