Rescuers detect "underwater noises" in the race against time to find the missing Titanic tourist sub, and Hunter Biden will plead guilty to tax-related misdemeanor crimes. Plus, the No. 1 food cardiologists avoid eating for breakfast, and the great debate over just how cold the office should be during the summer. |

Hunter Biden, son of President Joe Biden, has reached a plea deal in which he's expected to plead guilty to two federal misdemeanor counts of failing to pay his taxes, according to court documents filed yesterday. Biden is not expected to do any jail time, two sources told NBC News. The charges brought against Biden are rarely prosecuted and even more rarely result in jail time, legal experts say. Biden, 53, also faces a separate felony gun possession charge that will likely be dismissed if he meets certain conditions, according to court documents. The case marks the first time the Justice Department has brought charges against a child of a sitting president. Here's the latest. |

It's 85 degrees out, how is it freezing in this office?! The summer feels like winter to many office dwellers who have been showing off space heaters and cardigans on TikTok as they deal with the chilly air-conditioning at work. Dubbed "women's winter" by one TikToker, the summer months often lead to an annual debate over how men in short sleeves seem perfectly comfortable in the office, while shivering women appear dressed for an expedition to the North Pole. The battle over the thermostat can also affect job performance, according to some studies. See what experts have to say about it, and weigh in on the debate by taking our poll. |

A little pick-me-up before you go. |
C'mon down ... to the emergency room! A recent contestant on "The Price is Right" took his enthusiasm level to 11, even for the famously bonkers game show, and dislocated his shoulder while celebrating. A contestant named Henry won a trip to Hawaii after a correct guess, but in his leaping, fist-pumping joy, he popped his shoulder out. His wife had to spin the wheel for him in order to advance to the Showcase Showdown. After winning a trip to the Aloha State (and the ER), Henry is "feeling better and all healed now," according to the show. He can now comfortably enjoy his recovery in Maui. |
