Last night, Twitter suspended the accounts of several high-profile journalists who cover owner Elon Musk and Twitter, including reporters from The New York Times, CNN and The Washington Post. Musk said it was due to a new rule about accounts that track private jets, including one owned by Musk. "Criticizing me all day long is totally fine, but doxxing my real-time location and endangering my family is not," he said in a tweet. Last month, Musk tweeted that he would not ban an account that tracked his jet, but he reversed his stance yesterday. "This is the very stuff that he's criticized the previous Twitter of doing," one of the suspended reporters told NBC News. |

A stay-at-home dad from Albany, New York, shares how he struggled with how his community viewed him and how he viewed himself as the primary caregiver to their children. "Modern American mythology reveres men who pull themselves up by their bootstraps ... not men who nurture their families," Jay Deitcher writes. He says he has gotten a glimpse at what women have been enduring for years in a society that doesn't value work at home. Going to therapy and becoming a writer on the side helped, but he still has a sense of discomfort. "If I wasn't working or caring for my kids, I still told myself I wasn't doing enough, so I didn't know how to relax," he wrote. Read the essay here. |

This gazpacho recipe from Spain by Patricia Andrés, the wife of celebrity chef José Andrés, is so enticing that José says it's one of the reasons he married her. The rich, creamy soup is best made with Spanish sherry vinegar and served with cherry tomatoes, diced cucumber and a drizzle of olive oil. José also stopped by the TODAY kitchen to prepare xuixos, a Catalan pastry filled with citrus and spice infused crema Catalana. |

A little girl's joy over her first dance recital wasn't complete until she knew mom and dad were there to see it. Emmy Krow, 3, was scanning the crowd with her fellow dancers after their recital at Unity Dance Spectrum in Chicopee, Massachusetts, when she finally spotted her family, and her face lit up with a big smile. She immediately gave them a wave and then shed tiny tears of happiness knowing they were there to see her performance. See the adorable moment here. |
