Former President Donald Trump said in a written statement yesterday that the FBI "raided" his home in Palm Beach, Florida, and even cracked a safe that was there. A source familiar with the matter told NBC News the search was connected to classified information Trump allegedly took with him from the White House to Mar-a-Lago in January 2021, and that the search warrant was related to the National Archives. Trump claimed the search was politically motivated, but did not provide specifics. Here's what we know so far.

Beloved 'Grease' star and pop singer Olivia Newton-John dies at 73.

Singer and actor Olivia Newton-John, best known as the star of the 1978 hit "Grease," died at 73 yesterday. Newton-John, who had been treated multiple times for breast cancer, "passed away peacefully" at her home in southern California, her husband said. Newton-John was also a four-time Grammy winner with hits like "You're the One That I Want" and "Physical." "Grease" co-star John Travolta was among many who paid tribute to her yesterday. "My dearest Olivia, you made all of our lives so much better," Travolta said.

Anne Heche is in a coma and in 'extremely critical condition' after a fiery car crash.

In a dramatic reversal two days after saying Heche was in "stable condition" following an Aug. 5 car crash, the actor's publicist said yesterday that she had slipped "into a coma and is in critical condition." The rep added that the 53-year-old actor has "a significant pulmonary injury" and "burns that require surgical intervention." Police said Heche drove her Mini Cooper into a home in the Mar Vista neighborhood of Los Angeles, sparking a "heavy fire" and requiring firefighters to pull her from the car. The LAPD obtained a warrant to draw Heche's blood to determine whether she was intoxicated at the time of the crash.
